The Newest Addition
A new addition has been added to our home and we already love him for his beautiful insight on such tiny things. It is our new microscope for our home education. It arrived on Tuesday and already we have looked closely at flowers, pieces of fabric, drops of vegetable soup and water, a sunflower seed, a thorn,a piece of fuzz, a frosted flake, and all are so unique and beautiful in their own way.
We can hardly wait to use our new friend with the Apologia Biology Course which I have been yearning to study for a year now. And with our microscope I will definitely be able to comprehend things better, for I am quite a visual person.

That is so neat! We never had a very good microscope, so we never did see much, but it was fun to try, anyway!
Oh, and Biology was my favorite to study in science.
He is quite the addition!!!!!
I am pretty sure Dr. Suess was looking through a microscope when he created Horton Hears A Who.
I too am looking forward to biology.
So, what are you going to name it?
Hello, dear Maggie!
Thank you for your sweet comment…love the way you used “exfoliation.” lol
I recently completed that Biology course and actually liked this curriculum better than the usual science curriculum I am accustomed to. Using the microscopes was so much fun! But, when the teacher asked us to draw what we saw, let’s just say I was a little frustrated by my lack of detail.
God’s creation is so amazing but getting a closer look at various things is even more incredible!!
Anyways, just thought I’d drop a little note your way…
Hoping your day has been filled with many blessings and much joy!
Lovingly,
~Missie~
What grade are you in, dear Maggie? I will use this same science book as I start highschool next year. I’m quite looking forward to it.
Blessings,
~Annie~
